LeoSoundLab is a sole proprietorship based in Traiskirchen, which creates sounds for the model railway in premium quality. The purchase of sounds for self-programming is also possible.
It started with the hobby of model railways and dissatisfaction with the sounds available on the market, as well as the limited range of sounds for Austrian vehicles. The first steps for the production of a first sound project led us to the beautiful Waldviertel and to the ÖBB 399.01 (today Mh.1). In order to obtain the best audio quality, the best equipment of the Austrian company AKG with the large diaphragm condenser microphone C414 was used. A Zoom 4Hn functioned as a recorder. Equipped with these utensils, the first recording was flawlessly successful and, after elaborate audio editing, found its place on the ESU LokSound V3.5, as the first, specially created sound project.
The persistently high demand for sounds from Austrian vehicles and many compliments for this and other sound projects encouraged me to make further recordings. With the sound setting of the Rh.298 / U and the professional installation offered in the Liliput model on the market, the breakthrough was successful and the company was founded.
